Last week we staged a West Covina property for a real estate investor. She had never worked with a home stager, but she had heard that property staging could help her sell her house. Well, the good news is the house is already in escrow, less than 1 week after staging!
The home has been beautifully updated by the investor. New cabinets and appliances in the kitchen, new carpet throughout, new tile floors, remodeled bathrooms are just a few of the upgrades that were made. This open floor-plan house presented some challenges for buyers when they saw the home unstaged and unfurnished, as is the case with most open floor plan homes. Most home buyers can’t figure out how to arrange their furniture when looking at homes with empty rooms. The second problem when viewing unstaged homes is whether or not their furniture will fit.
