For Home Stagers

Here are a few of my favorite home staging business resources. These are some of the suppliers and resources I use that have enabled me to grow my award winning home staging business:

I’m a co-owner of Easy Designer Websites, along with Kathy Nielsen in Atlanta, Georgia. We create beautiful, “easy to drive” WordPress websites for home stagers, real estate agents, real estate investors, etc. We really understand what makes a successful real estate or home staging website since we work in this industry. Once we create your search engine optimized (SEO) website, we tutor you, one-on-one, how to upload your own content, make changes, add pictures, etc. We don’t charge any monthly maintenance or webmaster fees.

Both Kathy and I use InMotion Hosting to host our own home staging websites, as well as the Easy Designer Websites we create for our clients. I recommend them highly. Why? We get excellent customer service and tech support. They are based in the US, and when you call tech support you get someone who really knows what they are talking about, not someone in a call center off-shore who is reading from a script. Wait times for tech support are usually less than 5 minutes. I’ve been using them to host my website for several years, and I’ve experience very few problems and little or no downtime.

I use Darby™ to manage my extensive home staging inventory of accessories, artwork, lamps, rugs, towels, etc. I’m able to track where every piece of inventory is at all times. I’m also able to provide my home staging clients with a detailed inventory of the home staging accessories placed in their home, including the replacement cost.

I use Market Ready Real Estate ™ to create my comprehensive home staging consultations. It provides the home owner a wealth of information on how to prepare their home for sale, that is customized for their home and budget. It’s very easy to upload photos to illustrate the areas of the home you are talking about. Using this program makes the process must faster, thereby allowing me to email a complete report to the home owner and listing agent much more quickly. If you do a lot of written home staging consultations, as I do, this program is a must.

Constant Contact is the program I use to send out my monthly email newsletter to over 1,800 local Los Angeles real estate agents. I use it to help promote the homes I’ve staged and provide useful home staging and real estate info to my subscribers.

I use Print Runner to print my brochures and business cards. I have found their service to be excellent and FAST! Their pricing is very competitive and the print quality has been very good.
