Home Staging For Real Estate Investors

Sell your real estate investment properties faster and for a higher price!

How? Have your investment real estate staged by professional home stagers at Moving Mountains Design.

As a wise real estate investor, you know you have to spend a little money to make even more money. Home staging has been proven to help homes sell faster than unstaged home, usually for a higher price. In one study, published by the Real Estate Staging Association, staged homes sold 74% faster after they were staged than when they were unstaged. That resulted in lower holding costs and less time wasted, which equals higher profits.

Following are some Los Angeles properties staged for local real estate investors. Just click on any photo to see more photos and information about that particular property.

We are set up to handle multiple properties at one time and stage properties valued as low as $250,000 and as high as $7M. We will travel to stage properties outside the Los Angeles area (special terms apply).

A Free Marketing Resource For Real Estate Agents

Here’s a great FREE information resource for Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Brokers and other real estate professionals!

Are you a real estate agent, mortgage broker or other real estate professional who works with home sellers that are facing foreclosure or a short sale? I recently discovered a great resource that can be co-branded with your logo and contact information. The material is provided by Fannie Mae on their KnowYourOptions.com website.  There are brochures, statement inserts, flyers, letters and pocket folders available for free download.

Create your own real estate marketing materials

From the website:

Fannie Mae has created a suite of helpful tools to educate homeowners on their options to avoid foreclosure. With the Storefront, you can access, customize (with your logo and contact information), and download these materials to use with your borrower outreach efforts.

When you click on one of the flyer options it looks like this:

Fannie Mae Flier to avoid foreclosure

If you already work with homeowners  facing foreclosure or considering a short sale, this is an excellent way to provide up-to-date information and tips. If you would like to increase your business by working with homeowners who are seeking a solution to their potential foreclosure or short sale, these free collateral marketing materials (which look very professional, by the way) are a great way to jump start that market.

Go to the Fannie Mae Know Your Options website and sign up (free) to access the collateral marketing materials.

As a professional Los Angeles home stager, I am constantly on the lookout for free or low cost marketing materials to share with my real estate industry partners. I want you to be successful! Contact me today to learn how home staging can help your listings sell faster and for more money!

Home Staging a Condo For a Los Angeles Real Estate Auction Company

This week we staged 2 Los Angeles condos for a real estate auction company.

This was the first time they had worked with a home stager and this was the first time I had worked with a real estate auction company. I think its a match made in heaven. The condos they will be auctioning look 100% better now that they’ve been staged by Moving Mountains Design. Having a more desirable product to auction should create greater urgency to bid resulting in more units sold and higher prices paid.

Here are photos of the Pacoima condo after home staging:

These are not expensive condos relative to Los Angeles home prices. But the model now looks like a high price, luxury unit after home staging. We used just enough furniture, accessories and artwork to highlight the condo’s architectural features and to give purpose to every room yet still remain cost effective.

These condos originally listed for around $400,000.00. According to the website, the opening bids at auction will be $125,000.00-$150,000.00. The auction is scheduled for November 15, 2009.

For more information about the Hansen Villas Condos, visit the Kennedy Wilson Los Angeles home auction website and scroll down to the Hansen Villa information.
