Staging a Victorian Cottage in Sierra Madre

The layout of this home is unique, as many Victorians are, and really needed to be staged to define the spaces and their best use. Staging is not just about adding furniture or rearranging furniture. It is important to add the right furniture and arrange it in a way that highlights the best features of the home, while drawing attention away from awkward or ill-defined areas. We defined an area for a dining table and family room seating in an area adjoining the kitchen. We created a cozy living room and a romantic master bedroom suite.

Vacant Home Staging For An Arcadia Townhome

This week we staged a vacant Acadia town home located in a very nice complex on Fairview Ave. When I first met the homeowners, they were in the process of moving out, hence all the before photos show their moving boxes.

Upon my recommendation, they agreed to paint the entire unit, have the carpets steam cleaned and hire a handyman to take care of a few minor repairs. They did a really nice job making their condo move-in ready. They were smart about hiring a professional home stager, and doubly smart for following my recommendations.
